Chloe Duckworth is the CEO of Valence Vibrations, and a computational neuroscience student at USC. She passionate about building democratizing access to health and wellness, particularly in neurotechnology. Within neurotech, she’s worked as the student program manager of BrainMind, a nonprofit convening some of the best minds in neuroscience entrepreneurship to accelerate neuro-innovation. She’s also worked in a variety of community organizing roles, and cofounded Hope Hearted, a nonprofit supporting unhoused populations in the Bay Area during the pandemic.
Shannon Brownlee is the CTO of Valence Vibrations and a student at USC double majoring in computer science and quantitative biology. She is a software engineer who specializes in machine learning, specifically in the field of computational biology, and has done software development at Microsoft and Lucid Circuit, Inc. She’s passionate about using computational tools to help make healthcare, wellness, and biology in general more accessible to all people in easy to comprehend ways.
Dr. Sharena Rice tinkered with electronics as a child, wrote a documentary on human behavior in middle school, and eventually became a tech entrepreneuroscientist. She is co-founder of Intvo Inc, an automotive software company for pedestrian behavior prediction, and its vertical spinoff, SquadNest. She serves as scientific advisor for Valence Vibrations. In her dissertation research in the OmarLab at the University of Michigan, she studied neural circuits and brain rhythms during navigation, learning, memory, and sleep.
