As an adjunct professor at the USF Judy Genshaft Honors College, I teach courses on Russian and Middle Eastern Studies to honors students. I also work as a research assistant at the USF Global and National Security Institute (GNSI), where I conduct policy analysis and academic research on various topics related to international security, geopolitics, and regional affairs. I am a Ph.D. candidate in Politics and International Affairs at the USF, and I expect to graduate in May 2024. I have published my work in reputable outlets such as the Atlantic Council, the Stimson Center, and the Harvard Journal of Middle Eastern Politics & Policy, and I have been featured as a commentator on Al-Jazeera and the BBC. My current research focus is on Russo-Shia cooperation in the Middle East, which is also the topic of my dissertation. I am passionate about advancing the understanding of complex and dynamic global issues and contributing to the academic and public discourse on international affairs
