On November 6, 2018, Sanjay Gehani was elected to serve a four-year term on the City Council. Sanjay ran on a platform that focused on taking a break from new housing developments, working locally and regionally on traffic solutions, improving our relationship with our elementary school district, driving a conservative fiscal approach towards our budget, and a commitment to creating a community centric environment for residents and businesses. Sanjay is a Managing Partner and Chief Marketing Officer for Building Kidz Worldwide, a top 100 Emerging Franchisor in America, headquartered in Foster City. Building Kidz enables Franchisees to own and operate pre-schools across America and in India. His experiences in working with cities within the Bay Area and across our country is directly transferable to helping Foster City drive a collaborative relationship within our region.
